VIDEO - POROUS SCAFFOLDS - explained

Platforma partner, Laser NanoFab, (https://www.lasernanofab.com/) developer of scaffolds in the project and leader in the field of precision fabrication of porous scaffolds for cell culturing, explain in this video the different types of fabrication technologies, and their suitability for successful cell culturing strategies.

Laser NanoFab have pioneered the use of 2-photon polymerisation as the fabrication technology of choice and demonstrate in this video the advantages over sponge, electrospun, and 3D-printed methods.

2PP fabrication of Platforma scaffolds is contributing hugely to the exploitation potential of Platforma results in developing advanced human skin equivalent models and useable neuro-muscular junction models for testing new drug therapies for ALS (https://www.als.org/understanding-als/what-is-als) & (https://www.encals.eu/about-encals/).
