An average increase of 30-45% of neurons expressing TRPv1, Nav1.7 and Nav1.8 in week 4 of culture; 90% neurons response to capsaicin on day 22.
Platforma has been an important stimulus in bringing this product to market and the project's programme schedule is already benefitting from this innovation by reducing the feedback loop by many weeks on iterations of 3-D culture development for the Human Skin Equivalent.
